Unit 14: Pneumonia in Cattle and Sheep

Pneumonia is a disease that mainly affects young animals, although older animals are not immune. Pneumonia is the inflammation of the lung tissues.

This session will look at the causes of pneumonia in cattle and sheep.

At the end of this session you will be able to:

Name the main causes of pneumonia
Describe the pre-disposing factors for pneumonia to develop
Evaluate the preventative measures available to the stockperson
