This session deals with the prevention methods available for the control of parasites in farm animals.
It will cover the 4 main methods, namely injecting, pour on, spray on in cattle and dipping in sheep.
This session will demonstrate the correct method involved in each procedure.
At the end of this session you will be able to:
- state the main systemic methods of administering chemicals against parasites
- describe the correct method of injecting subcutaneously
- describe the correct method of applying a pour on to cattle and sheep
- describe the correct method of applying a spray on chemical on to sheep.
